You may know him as a Brownlow award-winning Australian rules footballer, but did you know Patrick Dangerfield also has a flair for boat design? Warren caught up with Pat at the Melbourne Boat Show to discuss not only how he got into the boating lifestyle, but also how he became an ambassador for Northbank Marine and helped with the design of their Danger Pro Series.

Pat met Rob from Northbank through connections he made thanks to his time spent playing footy in South Australia. This led to him purchasing a 6m boat to start off with, which in turn led to the boat he now owns and fishes from. Since becoming an Ambassador for Northbank, Pat has teamed up to help design the Danger Pro Series, a Walkaround boat with all the added extras in the standard design. It was designed with the fisherman in mind right down to the little things that make it more user-friendly.
